A little about this position...
The patient care coordinator is responsible for coordinating, confirming, and following up with all appointments. They will also present treatment, coordinate finances, and follow up with patients' next course of treatment. They will ensure the delivery of professional, high-quality service when interacting with patients in the office or on the phone while always exceeding patients’ expectations.
We are a General Dental Practice seeking:
- Experienced, self-motivated individual possessing knowledge and proven success in the areas of dental terminology, coding, insurance submission and follow-up, financial arrangements, collections including co-payments at time of service and productive scheduling.
- Candidate must be detail oriented and able to multi-task successfully with a pleasant personality.
- Weekend availability is a MUST! Hours 32 , pension plan provided.
- Successful candidate MUST have 3 years DENTAL OFFICE Front Desk/Receptionist experience with Dentrix.
- History of utilizing social media platforms, CareCredit, Lighthouse and Weave is a plus.
- The ideal candidate must have insurance experience, cross trained in assisting, organized, and a team player. Our staff love working with each other in a positive environment and love what they do.
- Some of the tasks are calculating and collecting co-payments , calling insurance companies for pending claims and yearly maximums, calling patients with pending treatment to schedule, submit e-claims.
Compensation will be based on experience and job performance.
